Team Downer is a consortium with Downer as the prime, and Providence Consulting, DXC Technology, and Systra Scott-Lister as member companies. As an MSP to the Department of Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) it provides ‘above the line’ contracting services; delivering professional services, workforce planning and other professional expertise in partnership with Australia’s small-to-medium enterprises as an important part of the nation’s sovereign Defence industry capability.
“We are very pleased to open this new office in Port Adelaide. The site will act as a local base for Team Downer to support the Commonwealth’s national continuous shipbuilding enterprise and build on the broader Downer legacy of more than 150 years of building and sustaining Australian ships,” said Andrew Foster, Executive General Manager of Downer’s Defence Systems business.

Team Downer contractors are currently working around Australia in:
The office is located in a heritage building that includes a 140-year-old blue stone wall. “The Port-Adelaide Enfield district has born witness to much of South Australia’s maritime and manufacturing past,” Lovejoy said. “We are proud to take our place and make our contribution to South Australia and the nation’s future.”
