Leave entitlements

As an employee of Downer, there are a range of leave entitlements available to you. 

Your employment contract will set out many of your leave entitlements including annual, personal/carers and compassionate leave. ​Further details are available on the Human Resources section of The Downer Standard site.

Paid Parental Leave

Company Paid Parental Leave (CPPL) is available to eligible employees and provides 12 weeks remuneration equivalent to the value of the employee’s ordinary hours earnings. Where an employee is eligible for Government Paid Parental Leave (GPPL), the CPPL payments will be paid as a top-up of the difference between the GPPL amount and the employee’s ordinary hours earnings.
