One element of Downer’s workplace RAP requires us to demonstrate a commitment to creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their communities. This has led to the development of a business case, which sets out our approach to encouraging and embedding greater diversity and inclusion into our supply chain. Our next step, and key objective, is to implement this business case to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sustainable enterprises and communities by procuring from accredited Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businesses.
