Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia 

ISCA administers a rating scheme for infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand that evaluates sustainability across Governance, Economic, Environmental and Social domains.

Downer received an ‘Excellent’ rating for the North West Roads Maintenance contract in Tasmania.

The North West contract is the first ISCA rating for Tasmania, and the first ‘Excellent’ rating ever awarded for a road maintenance contract.

Regulation

The activities of Downer’s Mowbray and Lindisfarne asphalt plants are regulated by Tasmania’s Environment Protection Authority (EPA).

Registration

The Mowbray and Lindisfarne asphalt plants’ testing laboratories are registered and accredited with the National Association of Testing Authorities Australia (NATA).
