Meet our regional workforce
From Melbourne to the NSW Riverina, Aiden made the move to regional Australia – bringing with him valuable experience and a growing young family. Now working from a regional base, he plays a key role in attracting and supporting our skilled workforce – proving that regional relocation can unlock both personal and professional opportunity.
We bring together a diverse workforce from across the country united by a shared commitment to enabling Defence capability. Whether it’s managing critical infrastructure, upgrading Defence precincts, or delivering above-the-line professional services, our strength comes from the wide range of skills, backgrounds and experiences our people bring to every project.
HR Manager at Downer, Aiden Blackman is passionate about helping people find meaningful work, especially in regional communities.
